"Percy, let me go," she croaked. "You can't pull me up."
His face was white with effort. She could see it in his eyes that he knew it was hopeless.
"Never," he said. He looked up at Nico, fifteen feet above. "The other side, Nico! We'll see you there. Understand?"
Nico's eyes widened. "But-"
"Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!"
"I-I will."
Below them, the voice laughed in the darkness. Sacrifices. Beautiful sacrifices to wake the goddess.
Percy tightened his grip on Annabeth's wrist. His face was gaunt, scraped and bloody, his hair dusted with cobwebs, but when he locked eyes with her, she thought he had never looked more handsome.
"We're staying together," he promised. "You're not getting away from me. Never again."
Only then did she understand what would happen. A one way trip. A very hard fall.
"As long as we're together," she said.

END OF SPOILERS
I finally finished it! I didn't mean to give too much time into making this piece since I still have commissions to finish-- but in the end, I did, so that's why I'm so sorry! OTL I PROMISE TO WORK ON THOSE COMMISSIONS NOW. T^T
Anyway, this part in the book really moved me. (...well, I think part moved ALL MOA readers. RICK YOU SADIST.) Probably because I never knew the extent of Percy's love for Annabeth till this very moment. (MY GOD, FEELS)
So yeah, if you wanna talk about feels with me, I am VERY open. LOL XD I can hardly wait for House of Hades! aksjdhaskdj
And I might make another percabeth comic soon since I promised my friend I'd draw the reunion for her as a gift on Christmas
